Botswana Delegation visits northern Australia for Learning Exchange and Signing of MOU

In August 2019, the ISFMI hosted a visit by a delegation from the Government of Botswana to northern Australia. The delegation participated in the Kimberley Healthy County Forum from 6 to 8 August, hearing first hand from northern Indigenous rangers on their experience of Indigenous Fire Management. During the visit, the signing of an MOU of cooperation between the ISFMI and the Government of Botswana, represented by Dr Mmasera Manthe-Tsuaneng, Director of the Ministry of Environment, Botswana, took place at Charles Darwin University, in the presence of the Northern Territory Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
