Anja Hoffmann
Anja has extensive experience in international fire management. She served as integrated Senior Fire Management Specialist for the Government of Botswana to develop a comprehensive fire management strategy and the establishment of a fire information system. She served as an advisor to Integrated Fire Management Project supporting the Tanzania Forest Service in Community based Fire Management Prevention, as well as, advising on integrated fire management in the Brazilian Cerrado.
Anja is a member of the fire implementation team of the international science panel on Global Observation of Forest and Land Cover Dynamics (GOFC-GOLD) and coordinator of the regional fire networks. She is co-author and author of various papers in renowned scientific magazines and journals.
