This document traces the history and current situation in Belize, determining status of social, economic, land tenure and governance related to potential ISFMI pilot sites within the country of Belize.

Contained within this document is a determination of national capacity and documentation of organizations currently involved in fire management for the development of this project for emissions reduction and traditional fire management (ER TFM).
