UNESCO Call for Papers by May 10th for Special Journal Issue on Knowledges of Fire in LAC Region

The journal “Naturaleza y Sociedad: environmental challenges” will publish a special issue on the theme “Knowledges of Fire in Latin America and the Caribbean: the contribution of UNESCO sites to fire management in the face of climate change emergencies”. The call for papers is now open and will close on 10 May 2022.
This special issue is a direct result of the webinar series that the LAC UNESCO Sites Climate Change, Risk and Resilience Platform held in September 2021.

La revista "Naturaleza y Sociedad: desafíos medioambientales" publicará un número especial sobre el tema "Los saberes del fuego en América Latina y el Caribe: la contribución de los sitios UNESCO para la gestión de incendios frente a la emergencia de cambio climático". La convocatoria para la presentación de trabajos ya está abierta y se cerrará el 10 de mayo de 2022.
Este número especial es el resultado directo de la serie de seminarios web que la Plataforma de Cambio Climático, Riesgo y Resiliencia en Sitios UNESCO de América Latina y el Caribe celebró en septiembre de 2021.
