2020 North Australia Savanna Fire Forum

  • Darwin, Australia (map)

Join the ISFMI when it presents to the plenary of the 2020 North Australia Savanna Fire Forum on the value of Indigenous Fire Management globally.

After experiencing an extreme fire season in 2019, it has never been more important to get together to share knowledge to improve our understanding and practice of savanna fire management.

The forum is of interest to Indigenous land managers, rangers, fire practitioners, park managers, pastoralists, scientists, program managers, carbon industry practitioners or anyone working in the fire management and carbon sector.

In response to feedback that participants would like more opportunities to discuss particular issues affecting savanna fire management, this year’s program will include both plenary sessions and dedicated workshops.

The event is hosted by the Indigenous Carbon Industry Network.
